Where the wild within finds rest

A Sanctuary for the Authentic Self

Therapy for overthinkers, self-doubters, perfectionists, and those struggling with body shame and emotional eating.

therapy is individualized, relational, and grounded

If you’re tired of overthinking everything, carrying too much responsibility, or feeling like you should have it all together by now—you’re in the right place

I work with adults and college students who often feel like they’re carrying more than they let on. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people—professionals, students, and natural helpers who hold themselves to high standards and feel pressure to keep everything together. On the outside, things may look like they’re going well. On the inside, you might feel anxious, stuck in your thoughts, or quietly questioning whether you’re doing enough.
Hi, I'm Chelsea!

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change

My role is to help you untangle what’s happening beneath the surface and begin building a life that feels more intentional, balanced, and aligned with who you are—not just who you learned you needed to be.

In therapy, I’m real, present, and actively engaged. I don’t sit back silently or hide behind jargon. I use evidence-based approaches like DBT and ACT in practical, down-to-earth ways. DBT focuses on building skills to manage big emotions, cope with stress, and navigate relationships more effectively. ACT helps you relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings while clarifying what truly matters to you, so you can move forward without being ruled by self-criticism or fear.

Growth isn’t about fixing yourself, it’s about learning to show up

Life’s pressures can quietly build over time, showing up as anxiety, self-doubt, disconnection from your body, or the sense that you’re constantly pushing yourself just to keep up. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a more compassionate and sustainable way. My work focuses on helping thoughtful, high-achieving individuals find greater clarity, balance, and self-trust.

If your mind tends to run a mile a minute, replaying conversations, worrying about what’s next, or feeling like you should always be doing more, you’re not alone. Anxiety and perfectionism can make it hard to relax or trust that you’re doing enough. In therapy, we’ll work together to quiet the constant mental pressure and help you feel more grounded, self-assured, and able to breathe again.

If your mind is always running through “what ifs,” replaying conversations, or pushing you to do more and be better, you’re not alone. Anxiety and perfectionism can make it feel impossible to slow down or trust yourself. Together, we’ll work on calming the mental noise, loosening the grip of perfectionism, and helping you feel more grounded and confident in your daily life.

Struggles with body image and emotional eating are often tied to deeper patterns of self-criticism and shame. You may find yourself stuck in cycles of guilt around food, harsh thoughts about your body, or using food to cope with stress and overwhelm. Together, we’ll explore these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment. The goal is to help you build a more compassionate relationship with yourself, your body, and the way you nourish it.

Many high-achieving professionals and college students quietly carry intense pressure to succeed. Self-doubt, imposter feelings, burnout, and life transitions can make it feel like you’re constantly trying to keep up or prove yourself. Therapy offers a space to slow down, process what you’re carrying, and build a steadier sense of confidence and direction.

If you were the one who always had to be responsible growing up, you may feel like you’re constantly carrying more than your share. Eldest children and natural helpers often learn early to stay “on,” take care of others, and hold things together, even when it’s exhausting. Over time, that strain can show up as anxiety, depression, guilt, or feeling like your needs come last. You’ve spent so much of your life being the responsible one for everyone else. Therapy can be the place where you finally get to be supported, too.

You don’t have to fit perfectly into a category to benefit from therapy. Many people come in simply feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what they need—only that something in life isn’t working the way it used to. Therapy can help you sort through what’s going on, gain clarity, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and aligned with who you are.

Our process

Your Path to Wellness

1. Consultation Call

We’ll begin with a free 15-minute consultation call to briefly connect and talk about what’s bringing you to therapy. This is a chance to ask questions and see if working together at Wild Haven feels like the right fit.

2. Intake Session

Your first full session is a space for us to explore your story, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. This helps us begin shaping therapy around your unique needs and goals.

3. Therapy

From there, we begin the ongoing work of therapy together. Our sessions create space for reflection, growth, and building a more peaceful relationship with yourself over time.
